The work consists of renovating the 5,736 GSF/4,577 NASF existing administration and classroom building and constructing a 3,400 GSF/2,230 NASF addition. In addition, the practical training area will be upgraded to replace the outmoded oil-based fire simulator with an environmentally compliant propane-based simulator, the 2,329 GSF/1,841 NASF dilapidated firefighting prop will be refurbished, and a new 1,050 GSF/1,000 NASF storage building will be constructed.  Associated underground utilities and infrastructure will also be upgraded to support this program.
